Great little pump
I purchased this pump to make an outdoor water feature. I needed a 2ft push and this was perfect. It came exactly as described, with easy to understand directions. It works well and I am happy with my purchase.

Versitile and quiet
I ordered this to make a DIY internal filter for a 2 gallon nano tank. I just added some tubing to the input side with a strainer and foam. Works like a charm. This pump is quite versatile and is very quiet.

It is good the price came down since I purchased.
I like that a USB powered fountain pump is even available. We provide water year-round for wild birds and many birds like water better if it is circulating. This fountain isn't perfect, but it provides circulating water in parts of my yard that I couldn't do that before. I think for the price, this is a good comparable fountain. I do wish there were extra parts for different sprays of water as they add with solar fountain pumps. I prefer this usb fountain pump over my solar powered pump as it has a more continuous flow of water and doesn't need full on sunshine. I look forward to these usb pumps being made with better quality, so they are long lasting even if that means they are more expensive.

Perfect for descaling a toilet
A little background. I live in central Massachusetts and use well water in my home. Periodically, I have to descale various things around the house to keep them working properly. This includes shower heads, espresso machine, electric kettle, etc. Over the last few months, my Kohler one piece toilet (Memoirs) has been barely flushing. Many suggestions on the web about descaling but no specific instructions. Here's what I didu this little pump. First, confirm it's not an outflow problem by dumping a 3 gallons of water into the toilet. If it flushes well, it is an inflow problem and the toilet may benefit from descaling. I used this pump , two pieces of 5/16 in tubing and a gallon of CLR . You will also need a priming bulb as this pump is not self priming. Turn off the water to the toilet and sponge out any remaining water at the bottom of the bowl. Pour enough CLR to form a pool covering the siphon jet at the bottom of the toilet. Then circulate the CLR from the bottom of the toilet up to the fill tube and do this for at least 24 hours. The CLR will turn from a light green to a dark brown and you may see pieces of scale coming out of the rim and siphon jets. Pour another three gallons of water into the toilet to flush out the used up CLR. Repeat the above for another 12 hours. If the CLR stays light green you should be done. Turn on the water and flush the toilet normally. You should not have to hold down the handle to get a good flush.

Poor performance
When setting the pump to max it shuts off and turns on repeatedly. Followed the instructions and the pump will not function in high output

Wow, the little pump that could!
This little guy is a WORKHORSE!Great instructions on the different scenarios for installation, use, using with hot liquids etc.(Do pay attention to the instructions! -- it makes me think that people have failed to read them, install it properly and then thought it was a defective pump...)Stoked to use it in the long term and see how it goes. So far it's a total gem of a little pump! (also totally quiet even on the fastest setting....)

Not self priming
Pump works OK, pretty good flow. It's not self priming which isn't listed in the product description so it doesn't work very well for my purposes.

Powerful enough to cool a computer.
I'm using this pump to liquid cool a i7-7700T CPU with a 1X60mm radiator. While running a CPU stress test of 100% load, this pump keeps the CPU below 50-deg-C at the lowest speed setting. With a 5V Noctua 6025 fan and both running off a USB plug, this makes a nice, compact and silent cooling system. It also does a good job cooling an i7-7700 with a 2X60mm radiator.
