Really good! Would recommend :)
We use our fan every night and it does a good job of keeping the room cool! The customer service (especially Steph) has been really good and we got a replacement fan really easily when we had a small issue with our fan. I'd definitely recommend!

Really work
Kept our room much more comfortable during the hot weather. Tank water lasts for ages and the icepacks keep it even cooler.

Best air cooler so far
Really like this cooler, been through a few cooler, this one is the coolest and most quiet. Good build quality. And love the water tank which is completely detachable.

Would be better for hot dry climates, rather than hot humid UK summers.
Air CoolerYou get a tower fan which has a water tank at the bottom and the device can operate as a fan or use the water for a cooling mist. Two bricks are included which you can freeze to put in the water reservoir for further coolingThings to consider- at ~90cm tall and roughly square at 25*29cm its quite large, at 6kg and with carrying handle you can move it round (but empty the water tank first)- remote and top controls work well- its less effective as a pure tower fan due to the additional mist complexity- the body doesn't rotate, use the blades on the front- the cold water humidifying does work well in smaller rooms, but based on the hot spots in UK summers, you don't want to add to the humidity. Would suit drier climates more I think. Its a shame the ice packs can't be used just to cool the air in fan mode.Overall - its ok, but not really suited to hot humid conditions.

Didn't cool
Didn't cool at all. Room temperature stayed 25C before and after ( only small room, 2 x 3 metres). The pump stopped working on Day 4, though frankly it didn't make any difference anyway.Unfortunately bought in November and only used it now so cannot return. Using it just as a fancy but expensive tower fan.

Brilliant alternative to air conditioning
These air coolers really cool well as long as you keep them topped up with ice and water. They are a good alternative to expensive air conditioners or where it's not practical to knock a hole in the wall or have the window open for extraction tubes. Great product and great seller. Definitely recommend. I've bought a second one.

Cooler packs contain gel: don't empty them
The media could not be loaded. When it said portable – this is nearly 3 foot high. And heavy. You can just about logging into different rooms but I wouldn’t hold this for portable. It’s noisy even on the lowest setting. And when you have the cooling function on that gives a constant noise of trickling water, a bit like a fountain. That might not be favourite for anyone with prostate issues. It doesn’t oscillate like a regular fan. But the blades in the front turn slowly left and right to alternate the airflow. The 'Wind' isn’t quantity, it’s different functions, so you’ve got a Sleep function, although it’s still quite noisy. The sound rating is put at 60 dB.You have to draw the water canister out of the base, but not remove it, fill it with water, leaving the electrical pump in place, and then put the two frozen ice packs in. So the water doesn’t end up that cold. Just a little chilled. The water tank is quite big and heavy to empty when you're done. The chill effect only lasts for around four hours, so it won’t get you through the night. I don’t believe these are prohibitively expensive to run because they don’t put out any heat. But, I’m not sure you’d easily be able to sleep with this because of the thrumming and the trickling noise. What they don't tell you is the blue cooler packs aren't empty. They appear to contain gel. So when you fill them up with water door the first time, I don't think you're then supposed to empty them. I think you're supposed to keep them like that and then refreeze them. Presumably, you store them like that as well. It would've helped if they had mentioned this in the instructions, since I emptied one of mine into a plant pot before I realised it contained more than just the water I had put in. Is it effective? There’s a certain benefit to it, but it’s a lot of faff, and I think I’ll stick to a regular fan.
