This is my 2nd time purchasing these headphones. My first pair lasted about 4 years, and I only had to replace them because I dropped them a lot (I'm clumsy, they're actually very snug, and a solid design). They survived most drops, but after some drops on concrete I had a part break. The first 2 times I was able to repair it with super glue. They still functioned great! I think after the last time my repair lifted the piece slightly and one of them had trouble charging unless I was holding it. That's when I decided to replace them.The earpiece is soft and comfortable enough to forget you're wearing them, but also secure enough I would wear them when jogging or biking without fear of them falling off. The sound quality is great, not hollow or tinny, but solid enough you can feel the base. They're not soundproofing or anything, but you can't expect earphones to be. I think they get pretty close though. I would still need to take them out t hear and understand anyone talking to me.My favorite aspect is that the case charges while you use the earphones. It takes maybe an hour to charge the case to full. During that time you can be using the earphones as well. If they start getting low you can even alternate with one headphone charging at a time, so you are never without music.Given the average price for a good pair of headphones on the market, I find these to be extremely reasonable, and I would happily pay this amount every 4 years if that's how long they last. However, I think with better care (Ie: not essentially launching them at the concrete) they will last much much longer. That was the only issues they had in all that time.

I ordered two pairs over a year ago and have found these to be the best overall earbuds in terms of comfort, battery life and sound/call quality. I've tried various other retail and amazon brands in the earbud products but the occiam product has been as good or better than many of the pricier/"name-brand" devices. I have issues with most earbuds as I cannot stand the feeling of stuffiness/pressure when most earbuds are worn, but I don't experience that sensation when wearing these. They are very adjustable in that regards, with the earhook plus inclusion of multiple sizes of ear cushions. So I can push them in deeper to get better sound/volume or worn loosely and still very comfortably and securely. They also work well independently -- which means that there is not a left/right dominant pair in terms of use. You do lose the ability to manage the previous/next track (L pair - Previous/R pair - Next) if used individually, but otherwise, you can do everything else, control volume, take/end/reject calls, play/pause, and power. Battery life is phenomenal overall, but combined with the individual use, staggered charging, battery/charge case, it's basically non-stop. Now if you could keep somehow from losing one of the pair, these would be perfect! As a family, we now own 3 pairs of these, plus I'm still using the 1 that I lost the matching pair to still. I don't normally use noise cancelling, so the lack of active noise cancellation is not an issue for me, and I did give these a middling mark for that. There is some passive noise cancellation, since, they do have the earbud/cushion design and can be inserted snuggly into the ear canal. I don't know about their lifetime warranty (they have their own that you can register for on their site) as I've had no issue with them, but at least for now, that's more of a plus than a minus.

I bought 4 of theses before. They last for about 5-6 months, maybe a year if you’re lucky. Had several different issues with each. One of them was that the charger case wasn’t working, and it would only charge the earbuds by like 1-5%. I also had to make sure the case was charging for it to work, and there was some sort of ringing noise coming from it as well. Sometimes the charger case dies super fast as well. The second one just died fully, and I wasn’t able to use it anymore at all. The third one; well I lost the earbuds for it, so I can’t say much about that.The one I'm currently using still has a lot of issues, but not enough for me to buy a different one or another one of these.the issues I’m facing is that the right ear bud would glitch by turning it off and on while listening to music while the left one works perfectly fine. This is quite annoying to listen to. Another issue is that it sometimes disconnect randomly then reconnect when I pause the music. Although these issues are a bit annoying, they’re still usable. I’m still using the fourth one for about a year now. The volume/bass is pretty good, and I really enjoy the feature of being able to control your music with the earbuds itself rather than having to use your phone. It works fine with water, as I have used it under the rain. Though I don’t suggest trying it out in the shower or in the pool. The range is quite good, I would say it would be able to continue playing music from about 6-7 feet away from your phone. The audio is good as well though I don’t suggest maxing out the volume as the clarity of the audio becomes harder for you to hear, and if course it’s bad for you. Lastly, it’s very transportable, and I bring it with me everywhere though one time on my previous purchase, I dropped the case and the lid broke off.
