Our little old girl (pictured) is going blind and losing her jump ability (she's 17 years young) these steps have made her more confident in getting on and off the day need which is her favourite spot. She still getting used to the fact that they're are 3 steps as she tends to jump on and off from step 2 but I can see the difference in her. Easy to put together but not as robust as wooden steps so defo best for small breeds. Would recommend.

Dog is scared to go on it as it looks too fragile.

These are ok but not the best fit they are ok for up to a certain weight but be careful if you’re dog is heavy

One of my old cats suffers from hip problems and has trouble getting onto the sofa or into bed with me. These steps have solved that. I don't get woken up by a cat crying for me to lift her and she gets a little more autonomy.Yeah the cover is really crap, but my cat does not care about aesthetics. It's cheap, can be dismantled and stored when no longer needed and cover is washable. I can copy it to make a better one and still be quids in over it's costlier competitors. I may just cut up self adhesive carpet tiles and put them on step tops as I don't mind the black plastic frame.On opening the box, it looks a little flimsy. Putting it together took a lot of swearing, however. The instructions aren't the best which is not helpful. It's parts click together. The step risers must be fitted with the central bracket down. Then all is fine until you get to the back bracers. There are two thin sections joined centrally and open out into an X shape. Their ends fit over retainers set into the frame rear. They are really stiff on mine and don't fit well. It took a large strong pair of pliers to get them to go on. It's stable enough once built.One thing I did do, as I have wooden floors, was add some rubber strip to the flat bottom edge so it does not slide around.

This was just what I was looking for. Excellent quality, condition, appearance and size. Easy to assemble and functional to. This is definitely excellent value for money. I am very happy with my purchase ☺️.

So so sorry but this pet stairs are a load of RUBBISH SO DONT BUY them because it wasn’t easy to assemble like it said in the instructions and not only that they broke i e a pice broke off of it. So I hat to buy some more pet stairs but I really could not afford it put I did because my dog kneed them to get up on the sofa and please please can I get a refund on the first stairs so please could Amazon uk get in touch with me thank you so so much from Claire Rowe. Ps they broke within two days of getting them.

I got these steps for my cat who struggles to jump up on the sofa or bed . She walks up these at her own pace

I needed a set of steps to help my 12yo miniature dachshund, to help him get up onto the sofa. I really struggled to put it together and once I had it was far too flimsy to hold even his light weight.I tried to put the cover on, to see if that would lend any stability. It would not cover the whole set of steps and did not have anything like straps to hold it in place.I've had to return it, and am awaiting my refund.I guess you get what you pay for…I'm going to have to order a more expensive set, and hope it will do the job
