First, let me extend a middle finger to my "luxury" luggage manufacturer for going cheap and using a riveted axle instead of a threaded one. After an hour of drills, Dremels, pliers, and pry bars, I finally got the old wheels off. If it wasn't for that, this would have been a very simple 5 minute project. The quality of the replacement wheels looks identical to the original, so I'm happy with that, although my original wheel did disintegrate, so maybe I won't be as happy a few years down the road. For now, I'm thrilled to have my roller bag rolling again, smooth and quiet as it was the day I bought it. I appreciated the 2 lengths of axle included, the shorter one fit perfectly. Great product, worked great with my bag.

What a great deal! The fit is good, and not too hard to install if you have a screw driver and a pair of pliers. Saved me from having to replace one of my favorite little rolling carry on bags.

My suitcase has the wheels that are recessed into the body of the suitcase. These replacements worked fine, but it was a bit difficult getting them to tighten because there isn't a lot of room in the corner of the suitcase to maneuver your hands and the allen/hex wrenches. This isn't really the replacement wheel's fault...just a problem with the design of the original suitcase. In the end the new wheels have worked fine and have not fallen off!

New wheel spins and looks great (bearings seem good). Not sure how long it will last (saw some complaints about it in reviews but looks good on visual inspection).Make sure you measure correctly before ordering (had a 50 mm on my samsonite). Replaced on a 10 year old samsonite (original wheel got dragged/ sanded down in a carousel somehow). If you can't remove your existing wheel with an allan wrench you'll have to hack saw or saws-all through it heads up. Kind of a b and put my suitcase through the ringer a bit getting it out but the new wheel went in perfect and for $10 saved me dropping a $100 on a new suitcase - win.

I was able to replace my old failing luggage wheels and these fit and worked well. Make sure you order the right size and these worked for my bag. The old were somewhat hard to remove (I had to use a drill to remove the old wheel axle) but the new were easy to install.

Had my original wheels break after 9 years of owning the suitcase, I travel with it maybe once or twice a year if that, and needed a replacement set, so purchased these to get the suitcase ready for my honeymoon and they didn’t even make it within a full day of actual use. Also 5 days outside the return window so these are useless now.

Replaced fixed wheels on carry-on luggage. It must have been caught on a conveyor belt at some point because one of the original wheels had a flat spot worn on it causing a noisy clicking sound when it was rolled.New wheels work fine and are very quiet, being rubber rather than hard plastic. Ease of install would have been a 5 but bag was not designed for replacing wheels. Housing for wheels were riveted so I had to drill them out and replace with screws, nylon washers and lock nuts. Axles had to be cut in place in order to remove, but once done new wheels went on easily. Only hiccup were the new wheel hubs were slightly narrower than the originals so I needed to add one more washer to each one to shim it out.It is best to remove one of the original wheels before ordering so you can get the exact measurements. The wheel diameter, wheel hub thickness, and the axle length.

This kit comes with new axles that make replacement easy. The new wheels have the same appearance of the old wheels but actually spin even better. Sure beats replacing the whole bag.
