Replacement Tubing for Hygeia EnJoye Breastpump, 2 Tubes/Pack in Retail Factory Sealed Package; Can Replace Hygeia Tubing with Connectors; Made by Maymom

I noticed some mould in my hygiea tubing and was really worried. i found this seller on amazon and I really thought of buying it because I was a PRIME member and I thought this would be a good stop gap solution until I ordered an original pair of Hygiea tubings. Turns out, I dont need to order the original, because these worked pretty good for me. The delivery, I must say, was SUPER FAST.

I recently ordered these because I accidently melted my original tubing. It works great and I haven't had a problem at all. Overall great product and I will be ordering again so that I can have a back-up.* I paid full price for this product and this is my honest and unbiased review

Like the description says it works with hygiena breast bump even thought the piping is slightly thinner that original pipping.

I bought tubing to replace the ones from Hygeia as I had them for a while. The tubing is nice, however, I do have some troubles with the connections trying to detach it from the pumps so that I can dump. It is kind of hard at times.

The exact hose I needed. I've been pumping for almost 6 months to donate to a milk bank and wanted clean hoses! The exact same hoses that came with my pump!

As mentioned, these are NOT made by Hygeia. However, they are made by Maymom, which makes other parts compatible with Hygeia. I use Maymom's flanges/shields, and have been very happy with them, so figured it was worth a shot.The tubing itself is thinner, and flimsier feeling than the Hygeia tubing. This doesn't necessarily mean it wouldn't work as well, so still wanted to give it a shot. I intended on packing my old tubing with me just in case these didn't work. My son is 8.5 months, been back at work for 4.5 months and he's still exclusively breastfed/expressed milk, so I have this "pumping" thing down to a science as I'm sure most moms who pump do as well. I know exactly where my suction/speed I need on the dial is, etc. When I first used these, the suction is definitely... different. I put it on the same settings as usual and nothing was coming out. I looked in my bag, and realized I forgot my original tubing! So -- this tubing it was.Long story short, I had to turn the strength on my suction dial up way further than I used to. HOWEVER, once I figured out where the new setting "sweet spot" was, this tubing worked great. In fact, the last month, my output had gone down slightly (time to replace parts!), and once I got the settings in the right spot (for me), my output went back to what it previously had been within one session.Knocking it a star, because I find Maymom's blatant pandering for 5 star reviews, AND encouragement to NOT post bad reviews, in bad taste. Encouraging to post reviews -- great, no problem with that. But on the instruction pamphlet sent with these, the FIRST paragraph directly states that some people find this tubing thinner, and if you are not happy "a bad review will NOT solve the problem, we will give you your money back" and not to post a bad review (that is not verbatim, as I don't have the pamphlet in front of me). I understand their point. No company wants bad reviews. But, that is the beauty of Amazon -- I make numerous purchases, and the rating system helps me make an educated decision about what I'm purchasing. They are essentially trying to "filter" their own reviews. I think most people are intelligent enough to realize every company is going to have some outlier poor reviews, but, it's the nature of the beast to let people sort that out themselves, and know the good, bad and ugly of a product to make informed purchasing choices. If people are not happy with a product, I want to know.As mentioned -- I am happy with this tubing, as I am with other Maymom products I use. They are a good brand. I just do not believe in blatantly trying to boost your Amazon review, and discourage honest discussion of your product. Let your brand and product speak for itself. If you are truly that confident in what you are producing, you do not need to discourage people from speaking their (honest) mind.

After 4 uses, milk went back into tubes. Caught it in time before milk got into machine. Was hopeful this would be a good alternative to paying full price for the actual brand. Too bad.
