I LOVE this thing!
I am a 72 year old woman with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, trying to maintain an acre of mostly weeds and leaves and pine needles. My 16 year old granddaghter lives with me and has trashed two weed whackers because she gets impatient with having to constantly restring them and breaks the spool covers. I ordered this weed torch and kept my fingers crossed. Used it for the first time yesterday and was blown away by how easy it is, how lightweight and how great it works. Even with the pine needles and leaves on the ground around the weeds, the flame isn't enough to start a big fire. Sometimes they catch and flare up slightly, but it dies out quickly. I would not use the torch on windy days, however. Soooo glad I ordered this.

Dedication will = success!
I was so excited to get this. Battling weeds for years. Trying so hard not to use toxic chemicals. It was easy to use & lit in the first attempt. I tried it out on the stone driveway. Great success. I bought with the intent of not only weeds, but also burning holes for planting in weed fabric. I haven’t attempted that. I’m ok if you have to repeat to eliminate. Burning vs pulling has got to be better, right? My hope/plan is to keep the weeds low and burn as I go. Even if I can’t do them all at once, my goal is to do sections each week. Between that, weed fabric, and avoiding weeds going to seed I’m HOPING I can cut down on the pulling and spreading. If you’re considering, I recommend giving this product a try!

Effectne
This product performed very well in weeds. The flame is good and the size is also good. Great product that does performed well. I Will recommend this product.

I love it!
I had a different one last year. I used it once or twice this year & the ignitor stopped working. I ordered this one and it works much better. Instead of a fan pattern it has a single "torch". Easy to use.

Great for Weeds
Having a rather large yard there are a lot of weeds that crop up in the garden or on the lawn. I was looking for something small and easy to use to spot-burn weeds. I've been using this for a little over a month now and love it. Super simple and lightweight it takes seconds to burn out those huge thistles or patches of weeds.

Not quite the power
I have a bunch of properties as long as the weeds are small. It works really well if you get into bigger ones it’s not enough heat. But if you get out there early and you have weeds that are only couple inches high couple of inches wide it’s perfect.

Easy and effective tive
Light weight and effective . Worked for over an hour on one small tank of benzene

Almost useless!
I bought this to 'spot kill' isolated weeds in my yard in early winter, when systemic weedkillers, which require the weed to be actively growing, tend to be ineffective. I bought propane tanks for it from another Amazon vendor (it does not come with any fuel). Following the instructions to attach a tank and ignite the flame was not a problem. It seemed to be working OK for a few minutes, though it took much longer to destroy a single small weed than I had hoped. However, it then started 'flaming out' more and more frequently, to the point that I no longer had time actually to burn anything with it between reignitions. I would emphasize that there was virtually no wind, and that I was following all the provided instructions for using it. I ended up having to pull all the weeds by hand! The ambient temperature was near freezing, but the propane tank did not seem to be getting much colder than that - well above what I believe is its 'critical temperature' of -44 deg F.
