it works, but is setup to heat and not chill, easy to just reverse the wiring

Doesn't work as a cooler
After trying to get this working for 2 days, I agree with some of the other reviews. IF this thing had bigger heat sinks for the hot side, then it might work. As configured it doesn't work. The hot side gets so hot, that the cool side doesn't get cool. Since it doesn't work as advertised I'm going to return it, and build one of my own from parts.

Designed incorrectly - does not cool
Heat sinks are apex’s incorrectly. They are far too small for the cooling elements. Running at full current this system generates more heat than it can move. In practice, one side will stay at a moderate temp, and the other gets really hot. I ended up buying separate cpu heat sinks and thermal compound, which worked pretty well.

Fans and heat sink severely undersized for heat dissipation.
Cool side works well, hot side doesn’t dissipate heat faster than it is generated. Save the hassle and buy the peltier individually with a liquid cooling block and buy some PC coolers with built in fans. You’ll be much happier.

Doesn’t work with heat sinks provided. I had to put a different heat sink and fan on it to get any positive results.
