TORK Distributors is Compatible with Hayward Filter Slide Valve SP410X Rebuild Kit

Rebuilt my Hayward filter slide valve using this kit. Only piece that didn't come with the kit was the pin that connects the valve handle to the body. Used a heavy-duty galvanized nail and bent it over to re-connect.

The hardest part is getting the old valve removed. Mine was broken about half way along the length and required a very long needle nose pliers to get the bottom half out. Otherwise it went back together just fine.

The seals fit perfect, and was a good value.

Did the trick to stop the leak coming from the handle opening! All I needed was that small little one, but good time to change all the others as well (they were looking a bit weathered anyway). Hardest part of the job was removing the pin the connects the metal rod to the handle so I could get to the O ring inside the handle shaft. Finally replaced that annoying pin with a cotter pin since it wasn't holding very tight anymore anyway. The final straw was when testing the new O rings... the handle came off leaving the rest of the piston in the pump. Welcome to my pump Mr Cotter pin!

These were ideal for my Hayward backwash valve and saved a ton of money. I was ready to replace the whole thing but them saw this advertised. I was not certain that these were the right o-rings for the Hayward backwash valve but decided to give it a shot. Even when I had the seals in hand, it looked like they were not the right size. But then the three main ones fit perfectly and the valve is not leaking anymore.

Greatest purchase I've ever made. I had been considering investing in something like this for years now but only recently decided it was time to take the plunge (get it?!?!) and throw down for the circles. Why you ask? Well, my valve was acting honky and since rubber bands a peanut butter are apparently frowned upon in the pool service field for seal replacements, these were recommended to me. Oh boy do they work well!!!

The O rings in the rebuild kit fit the Hayward Filter Slide Valve 2" that had become worn out. Leaks have stopped and the Slide operation is smooth as it should be. Thanks
