A quiet horse
I bought a new graphics card (Sapphire Pulse Vega 56) which didn't work with my old PSU (PurePower 680W). The card needs newer style 8 pin PCI power cables (x2) which my old PSU didn't have. I tried with the x2 6 pin power cables but no joy. Nothing to do with lack of power, the card is just fussy. This Platinum 750 was a breeze to install. I think the cables are great - all covered with flexible braided black material and both ends are labelled so you can't really go wrong. Many are x/y (or x+y - same thing) meaning a block of x holes for older motherboards and a decoupled one (2 holes) for newer motherboards, so you can use just x holes or x+y holes. eg the PCI cables are 6/2; use just 6 or plug the other one in for 8.To untangle my old PSU I simply unplugged one cable from the motherboard and replaced it with the corresponding cable from the new PSU. Repeat until all replaced - no mistakes can be made and no need for the motherboard manual thinking "where's that connector?!".When doing motherboard work remember to pull the mains cable out first, then press the power button on the PC to drain away residual current stored in capacitors. Mine had enough left to spin up the CPU fan and graphics card for a second. It is really quiet. The fan hardly comes on. Even running Folding At Home using both my new graphics card and my Intel i7 6700k 4Ghz the fan rarely comes on and when it does it's more for a waft than a hovercraft belt of air. My system is typical with a few SSD drives, one HD, a DVD, and the new graphics card (running 95% doing the F@H work). I honestly don't need 750W but it had a price reduction at the time. There's a button on the unit which makes the fan run idly at all times if you wish.It all feels very well made and is well packaged and presented. The PSU comes in a black drawstring bag nestled in sturdy a foam tray. Comes with a manual which I haven't read yet. Unhelpful I know, but helpful in that you don't need to read it to get your system up and running. It came with a UK power cord and plenty of cables for me (I had a few left over). Importantly it had 6/2 pin PCI (x2) cables and x2 SATA cables (each with 4 heads).6 pin PCI was designed for 75W. 8 pin PCI are rated for 150W. You can buy adapters to convert 6 pin to 8 pin but they wont magically increase your PSU electronics to deliver 150W.That's why my new graphics card wouldn't come on - it knew my PSU couldn't deliver more than 75W so refused to budge even though it doesn't need all that juice when idle. A sensible strategy - it needs a horse not a pony.I love the modular style. Having only the cables you need inside the PC makes it less cluttered and helps with the air flow. My old PSU in contrast was an explosion of cables to cover really old motherboards and (at the time) newer ones. For full spec and list of cables I suggest going onto seasonic dot com into the focus-plus-platinum path and you'll find detailed information including easy to understand cable schematics - technical drawings rather than hard to fathom photos of curled up distant cables.I'm impressed with the quality of this PSU and their website; it's the latter that made my mind up, knowing exactly what cables I was getting. 10 year warranty too.

Premium-priced PSU delivers great performance
Buying a cheap PSU for your PC build makes about as much sense as buying retread tyres for your car. In both cases you're trusting something valuable to a critical but cut-price component. Seasonic may not be the cheapest make out there but, unlike other well-known brands, the name on the box is the name of the manufacturer. This PSU has a 10-year warranty, which encourages confidence in its quality. It's fully modular, so you can power your build with the minimum number of cables. You can choose the fan profile by means of a switch, choosing whether to have the fan stop at low temperatures or run continuously. It's so quiet that I've chosen to run it all the time.Checking the voltages with CPUID's HWMonitor reveals that they are all extremely close to their rated values. In summary, I'm very pleased with this PSU. It really shows that you get what you pay for.

Pleased with this power supply
Pleased with this power supply! Props to the seller for delivering this power supply much earlier than scheduled!Things that I like about this power supply;Fully modular power supply, meaning that there's going to be better airflow within a case and less messy in general.Very quiet, in fact, don't hear it at all.Love the hybrid feature that keeps the fans off until a certain load is met.The only downside would be that the 24-pin ATX cable was quite stiff, a bit challenging to adjust it as you want it to be, but hey, apart from that, great!

Silent and reliable.
I had this drive upgrading from a cheap >£20 Chinese power supply I had before because I wanted to be sure I won't one day fry my computer parts and I also wanted the modularity so I can reduce cable clutter in my new case. This does both of the above. The 10 year warranty makes me confident that Seasonic really are sure about this power supply, and it's done me well so far. Not heard anything bad about this company from anyone else either.

Great product, great price
Never had Seasonic PSU's bit after a few searches over the net, I did not see any reasons not to buy it. The noise level it makes is not existent, the cables provided are enough and good quality. No issues so far. Really happy with the purchase. I have recommended them to people asking for a PSU.

Great build quality, not so great accessories.
Haven't been able to finish the build using this PSU yet, I've found the build quality to be great and a lot of care has been taken with the packaging and cables using a hard cardboard box and cloth bags.I am however quite disappointed that the power cable that came with the PSU was in fact a European plug and not a UK plug, I know its only around £5 to buy a new one but its still a price I was anticipating, I assumed that because it was being sent from the UK to the UK it would be packed with a UK plug. I feel like the plug type needs to be specified in the product description.Ill probably post an updated review once I actually get it running.

Good quality PSU for decent amount of money.
The product look well made and has great materials. Installation went smooth with no issue. Probably is an overkill now since I returned the Vega 64 I previously had and took an rtx2060 but decided to keep it.

I'll never buy another brand's PSU again. Silent operation + Top Rating on PSU Cultist List.
This is the power supply you've been wanting your whole life, but never knew you wanted until you installed it in your system. This Seasonic power supply came with a test device which works very simply: hook the main power cable up to the power supply, and plug in the motherboard power cable into the corresponding port on the power supply. Next, take the plastic test device, and connect it to the end you'd normally connect to the motherboard. Turn the PSU on, and see if the fan comes on. If it does, you're good. This PSU is so quiet, that with my head right next to it, I thought it didn't come on. The fan is dead silent. I had to look at it to verify that it was, indeed, turning. This is a stark contrast to any other PSU I've ever used, which sounds like a small jet engine is about to take off in the room whenever I turn on the computer. My new build is so quiet that the fan from one of my external hard drive cases is louder than the entire computer. That's impressive. I think I've made the point: this thing is quiet. It's also entirely modular, and delivers clean, consistent power to all of my components. The cables are nice and easy to snake to their appropriate locations, and they're clearly labeled (if you're a new builder, or if it's been a while since you've built a PC, this is a nice touch. The "gold standard" for testing power supplies is the PSU Cultist list. If you look at the list, this PSU is top-rated, representing an elite class of the best power supplies on the market. I paid a bit more for this, but I figured with all the other cash I'd spent on my new build, and extra $40 to be sure my power supply was excellent was money well-spent. It's next to nothing over the life of this computer. All said, my recommendation is to not skimp out on a PSU. Total up the maximum wattage your system is expected to use, then multiply that value by 1.5. The resulting value tells you what your PSU wattage should be, give or take a bit. You don't need to get a 1000W PSU "just because". Right-size your PSU to your build. Now that I've put a Seasonic power supply in my latest build, I'm never buying another brand. It's that good, and the hype is 100% real and justifiable.

Long Warranty, Amazing/Quality Product, and Platinum Certification!
The Seasonic Power supplies are very nice, It features a 10 year warranty, Fully modular Cables, and a platinum certification. This power supply is of great quality I am very impressed. As this is my first time purchasing a Seasonic product, I am proud to say I am extremely Satisfied with the products that Seasonic Manufactures.Installation:The installation for this power supply will vary upon case, But with the Cooler Master HAF XB Evo, it was fairly simple and cables were very lengthy, and of nice quality. All of the Cables plugged in with ease, and fit snug in the power supply. Length of cables is plenty for cases of all sizes, and allows for good cable management. Everything you need will be included in the box, such as some handy zip ties, and Velcro ones as well.Performance:Now while this power supply is already quiet, the Hybrid mode will make it change when needed meaning that fan will only spin when it needs too. It's a nice feature to have. On top of all that It is a very nice power supply that is very efficient, and will provide enough power, for a high end system, and future proofing.Overall: If this is on sale on a good price, I would totally recommend that anyone purchase this as it is a very nice power supply and should be enough for most people. Quality is there, as well, With a 10 year warranty, and a good company behind it, there should be minimal to no problems with anything that may happen. This having platinum efficiency is also another very nice thing to have, as well with the modular cables for cable management for all kinds of cases. With the market always changing check your options on power supplies, including sales on power supplies, and prices changing by the days. Always check your options. But this power supply, and brand is very recommended by me, glad I gave them a chance!

Läuft bereits seit 2 Jahren ausgezeichnet- sehr gute Langzeit Erfahrung

Quiet Compact Big Power
I've become a big fan of the seasonic power supplies. This is my 4th build in about 8 years using seasonic products and all are still running. This one is especially easy to configure and install. The compact size of this model makes it ideal for the Micro ATX and Mini ITX cases while delivering power enough for even the hogiest of video cards. This model is a tiny 150mm x 140mm x 86mm. This small size provided plenty of room for the connectors and cables, behind the supply in my micro ATX case. If you've ever worked with these small form factor cases, you know space is a premium and this supply frees up at least a centimeter over others in this class. The other great thing about this card is the lack of noise. It is one of the quietest I have used. I had it installed with cables run in just a few minutes. The only nit might be that the cable mesh covering does not quite reach the ends of the cable on the power supply end, (few would do that). however the cable that is exposed is very nicely colored (black with gray highlight) so it looks great to me. Highly recommend, especially for small cases.
