Easy to print, great colors.
This filament arrived well packed in vacuum sealed bags with desiccant. No moisture or tangling issues. No clogs on 0.4 mm and 0.6 mm nozzles. It printed well with standard print settings. I printed it at 200C with a 60C bed and it adhered well to both glass and PEI. I printed some on an Ender 3 at 100 mm/s and some on a vzbot at 300 mm/s. It even printed well on my son’s Toybox labs printer that is not adjustable at all. The color variety is great and the transitions are well spaced. I’m sure I will be able to get even better prints with a little tweaking of my settings, but I wanted to see how easy it would be to print with just the basics. I had one minor texture issue while printing at 300 mm/s, but I am sure that is due to a lack of cooling on my printer because it went away when I slowed down to 250 mm/s. Overall I am very happy with this filament and will be getting more.

Great Filament for Bambu Labs A1 Mini with AMS Lite
The media could not be loaded. I recently finished a three projects using each of the items in this sample pack filament on my Bambu Labs A1 Mini with the AMS Lite, and I was very impressed! I've been wearing one project on a keyring for 6 days now, and it's knocked into everything. It's showing no signs of wear so far. Here's a breakdown of my experience:Color:The colors in the sample pack were absolutely beautiful. It was glittery and looks so much better in person! The spools aren't completely indicative of the resulting color, which was awesome. I was worried at first, but quickly realized I was only seeing the second layer of color.Mixing:The filament mixed very well with other colors using the AMS Lite. There were no issues with multicolor printing.Printing with A1 Mini and AMS Lite:I'm happy to report that the filament fed smoothly through the AMS Lite and printed flawlessly on my A1 Mini using a hardened steel .4mm nozzle. I didn't experience any jamming or clogging, which can be a concern with some filament brands.Overall:Overall, I was very happy with this filament. It produced beautiful results and worked perfectly with my A1 Mini and AMS Lite setup. I would definitely recommend it to others looking for high-quality filament for their printers.

Cool prints
The media could not be loaded. Pleasantly surprised! Printed some dragons and they look great! Changing the orientation of the print will yield different colors. See video. The yellow comes out more of a gold and the red is more of a magenta. You'll get shades of purple and green as well. Rainbow filament basically. Structurally, same as any other silk filament. As in, more brittle than normal. Pay attention to the geometry that the slicer outputs. With dragons for example, you want your links to be at least 4 lines wide (1.6mm) or the kids will snap the plastic. Bed adhesion is as expected. I have a Ender 3 V2 with a glass bed. Needs gluestick for this filament. Temperature tower showed 200 as the optimum temp. Anything higher and you get whiskers and strings everywhere. The spool I got shows no issues of tangles and color orientation looks consistent throughout (there are windows on the spool)What can you print with this? Mostly larger curvy organic shapes. Large flat surfaces don't look that good as the color gets splotchy. Flat tops and bottoms just look like rainbow noise. Small details as well. The just look grey from farther away.To summarize, with the right model, results are top notch.

Really wanted to like it, but I simply can NOT recommend
So after using Hatchbox filament for a while and liking the results but less so the cost I decided to shop around for a less expensive alternative. After coming across the YOUSU multicolor bundle I figured it would be a great way to try a new brand of filament that hits the price point I'm looking for. Well, unfortunately this is NOT the filament I was looking for nor can I recommend.Image: YOUSU silk pink on the left, Hatchbox cool grey on the rightI tried 3 test prints at different temperatures: the first one at 190c, second at 200c, and the last at 210c. All three had the build plate heated to 50c. After the first one finished it looked incredible, but the second I removed it from the plate it practically crumbled into pieces in my hand. It took next to no effort to separate into multiple pieces as the layers did not appear to adhere to each other well at all. It did however stick nicely to the build plate so that's something I suppose. The next test at 200c was a little better but still had layer separation issues and was starting to get a lot of strings. So for the third test I bumped up the temperature again and the flow rate slightly as well. But that didn't help whatsoever, in fact the third print failed entirely and nearly clogged my nozzle! Thankfully I was able to switch back to the hatchbox filament quickly enough before it cooled and clogged fully.I don't know if this was a bad batch or a quality control issue as it seems this filament has decent reviews, but out of the 4 colors I received (pink, gold, white, and silver) I didn't even want to try the other colors and risk more wasted time or a nozzle clog. I'd really like to like this filament, as I mentioned the first print LOOKED beautiful, but ultimately it's just useless.I'm still on the hunt for a good filament around the $20 mark, but it seems this isn't the one.

Cool product but do your research!
The glow in the dark feature is undeniably cool and adds a unique touch to my creations. It's fascinating to see my prints come to life in the dark, creating eye-catching and memorable effects. However, I had to reduce a star from my rating due to one important aspect: the filament's requirements. It would have been immensely helpful if the product description mentioned the need for a hardened nozzle to achieve the best results. Without this information, I faced some challenges getting consistent, high-quality prints.Despite this minor setback, I'm still quite pleased with the overall performance and the captivating glow in the dark effect this filament offers. It's an excellent choice for those looking to add a touch of magic to their 3D prints, provided you're prepared with the right equipment.
