Product Description Forgefix twist nail is unique twisted shank nail for attaching metal work joists, hangers, straps and galvanised banding. The twisted shank assists in absorbing movement that may occur in construction. They have a sheradised finish for corrosion resistance. This finish is a thermal diffusion process, in Which zinc powder is vaporised and diffuses to the surface of the twist nail to form a sacrificial corrosion protective zinc/iron alloy coating, thus dramatically increasing the nails durability. They should get some of these for the space station
A few weeks back, a piece of space junk put a hole through the roof of our bungalow. Luckily some local teenagers were standing outside at just the right moment and saw it come in. They seemed a bit giddy, slurring and stumbling around, the shock of it all must have really got ‘em. Anyway, I grabbed a bag of these nails and before you can say “sputnik” I’d repaired the hole and the roof was stronger than ever. Great stuff. As for the space junk, well it seemed to have turned in to a glassy sort of substance, the heat of re-entry I guess. Not sure where the cider label came from though...
