I am a total amateur with zero leather experience, was easy to use and did what i needed it to do.

This kit has it all to do dog tags. No more lost name tags due to cheap split rings. I'm sure they will work on leather goods and other materials as well. Easy to use ,and all the tools besides the hammer are included.

These are cheap rivets that are not strong enough to hold anything. They would be fine for decoration except that the anvil and setter both damage the rivets. The case does not keep the pieces separate, and they get mixed together.This kit would be ideal for someone who wants a cheap set of rivets to practice with. For finish work, I would look for rivets and tools that are higher quality.

I bought them because I started making purses they came just how the add said they would. If you do not already have the gun I would recommend getting it as the tools it comes with are harder to use. Overall I am satisfied with them though.

I use it more then I thought I would. I have not found a need for any of the long ones, but I use the shorter ones all the time around the house.
