THIS LIP STAIN HAS SAVED MY SANITY !
Seriously, this lip stain has saved me so much money, time, and effort. I used to wear lip liner every day because I felt like my lips were on the thinner side (especially when chapped), but I always hated how intense and overly precise lip liners looked. It felt like there was never a true in-between shade. It was always either brown or red.I eventually gave up on lip liner because touching it up constantly was annoying, and I was always losing my lip products. Then my mom showed me this lip stain, and I’ve never looked back.At first, I was like “eh, whatever” because there are so many gimmicky, all-the-same lip stains out right now. But she wanted me to try it since she has darker lips and was curious how it would show up on mine. So I tried it. AND SOMETIMES (perhaps more than sometimes) moms really know what they’re talking about. I have NEVER EVER gone back.I usually hate lip stains. They’re always some red, or berry TINT and I just wanted something natural with a hint of flush. Plus, most stains wear off in like an hour. But this one? I’ve repurchased it over and over again. For context, I love going out clubbing. I can apply this around 10 PM before heading out, and when I get home, it’s still on my lips.I usually leave it on my full lips for a minute, then “line” my lips with it like a lip liner for about five minutes. Sometimes I repeat that for more coverage. My go-to is the shade XOXO, but I’ve also tried Beautiful, Adore and Neon Rose. Those were super pigmented. XOXO is my favorite since it feels like my natural lip shade with a half a shade darker and more neutral in a sense to where it works like a contour. I feel like the shade “beautiful” was almost like XOXO but with a bit more “flushness” to it! A natural tone for sure but MORE coverage. Adore was similar in the way of a natural tone but a pink more on the pinkish side! && Neon Rose was a NEON pink and lasted so long I literally woke up the next morning and it was still there. I remember the first time I applied “Neon Rose” and I did it same way I did with XOXO, and the color lasted from the moment I finished my makeup (around 4am) to the moment before I went to bed to do my nighttime routine (6pm.) since then I know now if I want to use neon rose it needs to be like 5 seconds applied seriously. This product lets me go out without carrying a full makeup bag. No touch-ups, no worries about losing lip products at the club. Just throw it on before I leave, throw one lipgloss in my tiny purse and go.I took forever to write this review because every time I use it, I get so excited watching the magic happen that I forget to take a picture. Also, people complain about the peeling part, but who cares? I always just wipe it off. It’s not a big deal when the results are this good. You get so much bang for your buck, especially with bold shades. Yes, it can feel a little dry eventually, but even then it stays opaque and visible. And coming from someone who hates spending more than $5 on makeup or skincare, this is one of the very few exceptions I’ll make. It’s worth every penny.(Top picture is before applying the lip stain, and bottom picture is after applying and leaving the lip stain on for about 1 minute)I will never use another lip product again.

Happy!
I got the XOXO kit and applied at 8am this morning. I simply swiped across, did half of my makeup, wiped and swiped again then and finished the rest of my makeup. It added almost no time to my routine. It was so easy to apply and stay within the lip lines. The color came out nice and full. My lips felt fine, slightly dry but nothing crazy. I put a really great chapstick on top and I loved the look. These photos are about 5-6 hours later, breakfast, coffee, water, snack, reapplied chapstick. The color is definitely less apparent and not as strong as this morning but it’s still there. Someone commented that I have “such a nice natural lip color.” — Gee thanks.I’m medium tan, biscuit Hispanic if that helps. I’ll definitely be ordering more colors. I wish people in the comments here actually reported what color they bought, otherwise your photo review is useless.I wish I discovered this sooner I wouldn’t have spent endless money on lipsticks and liners when this is like the best thing since sliced bread. All day coverage no tedious reapply no smudging no transfer ? Crazy…

Hayley is a redish color with a hint of brown
I want to start by saying that I wish more picture reviews mentioned what shade they are wearing, its more helpfult han just the picture. On that note I am wearing Hayley Stain & Go. I have bought Wonderskin before, and cannot dispute its longevity. It may have faded by the end of the night depending on what I was doing, but it certainly never faded completely. These pictures show two layers on my top lip, and three on the bottom. My lips are not evenly pigmented, hence the different amount of layers. I exfoliated before applying, and left the product on for 15 to 20ish seconds after I stopped applying. My picture in bathroom lighting is with eos on top of the product, and the one in natural light with rbf has aquaphore on top. I think putting on a gloss brings out the color, and in some ways seems to even it out a bit, but I suspect that's wishful thinking on my part. I got some on my fingers from fixing mistakes, and I just hope it comes off in time for my event tomorrow.

Mehhh.
Idk if I’d purchase this again. The color itself is nice. The problem comes in when trying to achieve said color lol. I literally have to use about 3 coats. The first coat is giving “hmm you’ve got a little something on your lip, right there.” Second coat is giving “oooh someone had some kool-aid today!” That third coat…? That’s more like “ohhh that lippie is cute! It could be a little more pigmented but it’s not bad!”Saying that to say, I didn’t purchase this thinking it would take half an hour to achieve the desired color. I follow the instructions even add a step. I use a lip scrub first to ensure a smooth canvas. After that, I use my favorite lip balm because washing the scrub off leaves them kinda dry. After about 4 minutes I was off the lip balm and go in with the first coat of the lip stain (please refer to previous paragraph for ny thoughts). Then wipe it off and repeat 2 more times. Usually after the third coat, I’m thinking “I could go another layer but I really put anymore time into this” so I usually stop. Once I’m finished, I top either with my lip balm again or lip oil.I do love that this doesn’t transfer. I can eat/drink as normal and not have to worry about reapplying after having something oily. It’s not breaking down and peeling off like other brands. I won’t lie though, there is 0 moisturizing effect. That’s why I go in with my lip balm prior to application.Idk if I’d repurchase. I think I’d rather buy something that works with less product. Like 2 coats, max. The whole reason I bought it was so I could be a baddie without having to put that much time into it lol not the case, but still a decent product.
