AmorettiPremium Syrup, Hazelnut, 25.4 Ounce

This was one of the first new (to me) syrups from Amoretti that I tried, because when I opened and smelled it, I wasn't quite sure. The scent wasn't bad, it just wasn't that cloyingly sweet fake hazelnut flavor I'm used to. The first time I used it in my coffee, I did a little dance in my kitchen. Beware that these syrups are thicker than what you might be used to, and that they are definitely not as sweet, something I think is great so that each drinker can customize the sweetness level without compromising the flavor of the syrup.

Hazelnut syrup was ordered as a gift with cold brew glass. Product shipped with no damages. Upon opening gift and sampling the flavor is not hazelnut, it taste like sugar and sugar alcohol. Requested money refund and was declined, was not offered an exchange.

WELL WORTH IT and saves money. I have to drink decaf and it's hard to find flavored decaf. This syrup gives ANY coffee a wonderful flavor boost comparable to Starbucks! The Amoretti Premium Hazelnut Syrup (750 mL) is delicious. The only issue is how tall the bottle is with the pump -- it doesn't fit in my pantry! The pump is also awkward -- it doesn't extend out far enough, and difficult to use.

This is the 3rd Amoretti syrup I have tried. Their syrups are very strong and extract like (as they state on their literature). Try to imagine using a 1/4 cup of vanilla extract (not imitation) in a batch of cookies (trust me, this would taste terrible)...if you can't imagine this, go to your pantry and taste the extract all alone. It takes nothing like it does used appropriately, and in fact, to me, it tastes terrible. After reading the reviews of the Amoretti hazelnut, I had a feeling that people were using too much which is entirely understandable in a culture that personifies "more is better." Well, I assure you more is NOT better when using these syrups (which is great for the wallet!). Of all of the Amoretti syrups I have, I use the least amount per serving of coffee with this one. Do not use one full pump for a regular cup of coffee unless you want it to taste terrible. Everyone's cup of coffee is different so start with a small amount, and you can always add more. Please know that I can taste chemicals a mile away. I am exceptionally sensitive to artificial flavors and chemical additives in taste and smell. I can no longer even drink coke. So coming from me, this syrup as well as their others I have (pumpkin pie and cinnamon) are fantastic. A little goes a long way. Give it a try.

Not a strong flavor.

I bought quite a few syrups. Hazelnut and Gingerbread are absolutely terrible, which is a big disappointment. It doesn't taste even remotely like hazelnut. It's very sweet, but none of the nuttiness. It's difficult to describe the taste--but it's not good at all. I don't recommend this one.Edit: Amoretti contacted me and asked me to try using less. Well, I was only using 1 pump for a 14 oz latte, but I did and it was much better with only half a pump. It's still not the flavor it needs to be, but better when I used less. It was palatable when mixed with their Dark Chocolate creme syrup.

We enjoy this hazelnut syrup in our coffee. It allows us to enjoy the hazelnut flavor without having to use creamers that contain a lot of artifical ingredients. It is a nice bottle, and the pump top is a huge plus. We keep this next to our Keurig and will continue to buy it!

I brought this as a gift for my friend as she loves hazelnut syrup, it comes in a lovely box which is really handy for giving as a gift

I absolutely love hazelnut syrup and I thought I'd try yours and it was horrible gloopy synthetic plastic the pump didn't fit in without it over spilling so you lose some of the liquid anyway it was just sticky it got on my clothes and now looks like oil stains and I am certainly not running around looking for a box and Sellotape to send it back to you I want a full refund because this is been very disappointing and expensive I should have stuck with the one that had worse reviews but is a lot nicer than yours I know that you'll try your best to make it calorie free but it just this synthetic and plastic tasting and glue makes you feel sick... even just smelling it a full refund is what I require otherwise I'm going to take it to Amazon customer services sorry to be like this but this is how I feel it's a lot of money for what you get and then it turns out to be so so so bad

BEAUTIFUL BOTTLE AND PUMP, GOOD LARGE SIZE, BUT THE SYRUP HAS NO HAZELNUT FLAVOUR! RATHER VANILLA/CARAMEL TASTE WHICH IS DISAPPOINTING.

Great flavours and with the pump included easy to manage.
