Q: I see discrepant opinions on the lock. Does the break lock the swivel as well or does it lock only the rolling of the wheel...?

It locks everything very nicely. I have them installed on my 3’ x 6’ workbench that is now completely mobile! I love these wheels and highly recommend. When you lock them, the table doesn’t move one bit.
