Bought this sleeping bag (x2) for my son and myself as we were going to the BSA Philmont Ranch for an 8 day trek. I was a bit skeptical as the bag seemed a bit lightweight and thin and we were expecting temperatures into the 40s. I was pleasantly surprised as I was completely warm and comfortable despite wet and cold weather. Of course I had to use a sleeping pad. Some nights I had to leave the bag open as I was getting too warm. Bonus was that it compacted extremely well into a small ball. I used an additional water resistant compression sack for this purpose. I bought the 750 fill version so cannot comment on how well the 550 would work.

Excited when I purchased this product: light weight, big guy size, good down fill and temp rating, . Very disappointed on arrival. Yes, it was light and good for big guys, unfortunately, you would freeze to death. The down was very unevenly spread throughout the bag and light easily came through just about every where there should have been down. Fluffing the bag did not produce fluffy down; it remained clumped. I really wanted this bag to work, but it went back unused because it simply is not a useful sleeping bag.

Very nice sleeping bag. weights 1.9lb, a little bit heavier than my last one but waaaayyyy roomier..... I'm 5'10' and 230Lb and Finally I can sleep comfortably. a lot of room inside this little thing.

The inimitable dawn-snuggled sleep with a roomy footwell. Absolute heaven. A+

Very comfortable and light,, Not the warmest but that is advertised so with a 27 deg fleece liner I survived in the snow almost comfortably.

I bought this for my son. He thanked me and thanked me for it. He said he stayed toasty warm in 30-40 degree weather.

Great sleeping bag - very nice and cozy but it is lightweight so probably wouldn't be great for really cold temperatures unless you used it as a sleeping bag and wore layers. I used it as a comforter and it was great.It packs up very nicely and doesn't take up much room and is very light so it would be good for hiking.

Not sure if it will be warm enough for fall camping.

Bought the larger/warmer sleeping bags. Unpacked easy, fluffed up well by shaking it out a bunch (important to fluff up before use after being compressed). Daughter used one in tent on an inflatable mat, she had 1 layer of clothes plus 1 camp blanket and wore a hat and wool socks at night - stayed warm even with temps at 5c overnight. I was in a hammock and was glad for my extra blanket to wrap around myself in the sleeping bag - I had extra warm clothes, wool socks and a hat as well. The sleeping bag was comfy, and I loved the hood part. Definitely need to wear dry warm clothes/layers in such low Temps but great overall.

This sleeping bag (large version) fits me perfectly (I am 6'2" and a bigger guy). It's warm, weighs very little and compresses down very well. I had some questions and experience excellent customer service from this seller. Highly recommend. I really like the foot room and the hood for colder nights. You won't find a better sleeping bag for this price.
