I add this kelp powder when I make bone broth for my dog. Great value and convenient to use.

Came as expected, well sealed. Tastes fresh and fishy, but it's kelp! So it's supposed to 😂 lol. Gives me a nice energy boost, almost like a shot of coffee but without the jitters, racing heart, palpitations or gut issues you get with caffeine!! So be sure to have it before noon or no later than 2-3pm or it may keep you up at night. I only take 1/8 tsp and 1 drop of selenium to be on the safe side due to the high iodine content. Nice vibrant green color too, and looks better than other kelp powders I've ordered. So, I definitely feel safe using it internally, because it looks like a green superfood powder, and not a sad green or brown color like other kelp powders. Thank you for shipping such a good product! I bought this to increase my iodine levels. My hope was that I could sneak it into my green smoothies. You should know that I am VERY tolerant of "earthy" tastes. I eat clean, mostly plant based keto and don't eat sugar or dairy. My protein shakes are made with plain pea protein, unsweetened almond milk, some unsweetened cocoa powder, granulated monkfruit and two big handfuls of fresh greens among other things. Even with my earthy taste buds, I have to warn you, there is NO sneaking this stuff into anything, even in small amounts. Just opening the bag will make you feel like you're standing on a dock surrounded by stagnant water full of dead fish, and it tastes exactly like it smells. I may not be very picky when it comes to the flavor of my smoothies, but I at least want to enjoy it somewhat and not feel like I have to chug and gag it down! That's what happened when I used this stuff. Eventually I took to encapsulating in in gel capsules myself, but that makes a huge fishy, smelly, powdery mess if you don't have a pill machine and I finally called it and ordered some organic sea kelp capsules instead because I couldn't take it anymore. I hate to waste a quality product, but it just wasn't worth it to me anymore. Three stars for quality, but unless you're already an experienced seaweed eater, I honestly can't recommend this powder for cooking or chugging. If it's iodine you're after like I was, buy the pills. I didn't want another pill to swallow, but in this case it's totally worth it. If this company (which I really like) ever starts encapsulating this powder I will buy it in a heart beat! Until then, it's a hard pass. I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else! And yes, I paid full price for it. Feel free to ask any questions!

Excellence over all

I used this Kelp powder for my own health purposes its high on iodine,which helps with the thyroid & boosts the immune system.i also gave this kelp powder to my chickens in there feed & noticed the egg yolks being more brightly orange & more egg production, the chickens feathers were more glossy & more beautiful in appearance, over all I highly recommend this product as it has many benefits not only for us, but for our pets also.

Easy to dissolve and great taste!

This is a great product. Tastes horrible, but what can you say, it's kelp for goodness sake! I noticed an immediate difference in taking it, with increased energy level and speeding up of metabolism with resultant weight loss just after a few days of adding this to my diet. Very pleased with this product, will buy again.

Is as advertised. Put a bit in water as it is easier for me to drink it. It seemed to grow. All good, I clean my water bottles often.
