Great

I purchased this product to add curls and softness to my hair. It added the curls but my hair felt hard after it dried.

I'll start this review by explaining why it's not 5 stars from me even though the product itself is fabulous - the spray nozzle is garbage to have paired with a thicker liquid that it's supposed to spray out. I've gone through 3 bottles of this stuff now and each one gets gummed up and clogged before I'm more than 1/3 of the way through a bottle. Really bad design choice, either choose a dropper bottle or a closed lid with a hole that dispenses small amounts of liquid with a tap/shake like some liquid face toners use but a spray nozzle (or at least one this crappy) is no good. I should not have to decant this from it's original bottle into a dropper bottle so I can use it all.Now, aside from the bad design of the top, the product itself is stellar. My hair is about 2c/3a, on the average leaning thick side, and it's short (pixie cut). My hair tolerates most "heavy" products but can't handle stuff like Cantu level heavy without being weighed down. As a curl refresher this is too heavy most days, but as a leave-in conditioner when I'm feeling a little lazy post-shower, or as a smoothing lotion, it works really well for me while also helping me keep moisture in my hair. It helps enhance my curls a little but doesn't really cause any excess frizzing (I always have a little normally). I don't like spraying it on while the nozzle is still functional and find it performs much better if you put a little in your hands and either scrunch it into your hair or tousle it in depending on the look you're wanting to achieve (I tousle, but I like wild hair).

Best product in the market for quick curls that dry nicely. Not sticky or greasy. Love it!

It just wasn't what I expected. Dried out with no sheen.
